“The more I learn about God, the more in awe I am of Him
I feel so at home when I’m with Him, that I never want to leave His presents
The question I always ask myself is why can’t I keep that peace and joy when I go out into the world
That feeling could make my walk with Christ so much more successful”
Well you probably know the problem is sin
A sinful world has a tendency to wear us down
Then we tend to get kind of casual about quiet time
We try to fight through thinking we just need to try harder,
But battles fought without Christ are lost
Unless we’re empowered from constant quiet times with Christ
We’re fighting battles alone
Plus the battles never stops
Constantly fighting is going to results in a defeat unless we’re drawing strength from somewhere
We’re not going to be able to stay strong unless we’re drawing power from a biblical source
The Bible tells us that fellow believers can be that source
God tells us in His word that “Where two or more gather in My name, there I am also”
The ‘in My name’ part is key
If we don’t allow God to take priority in the conversations we have,
And the activities we do
We’re not allowing His presence to guide us
That’s what we need
That’s what fills us with joy
That’s what sustains us throughout the day
We need each other
When we’re meditating on Christ with fellow believers
Christ can come to revive us
Without Him we’re left with all our worldly baggage
We don’t want all of that worldly stuff to bring us down
And the way to keep that from happening is to have fellowship with Believers
People that are filled with Christ just as we are
We need each other
If we miss this fact, we can fall away from Christ very quickly
We can spend our lives feeling empty and alone
So make plans for Bible studies
Attend Church events
Make a conscious decision to spend time with fellow believers
It’s a Christian necessity of life
Take the time and make the plans
You’ll be glad you did
